n-Butanol is a monohydric alcohol with moderate volatility and good solubility. Its chemical formula is C₄H₁₀O. It is a colorless, transparent liquid with a slight odor. It possesses excellent solvent properties, a moderate boiling point, and good compatibility with many organic compounds, making it an important basic chemical raw material in the chemical, coatings, plastics, and pharmaceutical industries.
Industrial-grade n-butanol is mainly produced through oxidation or propylene carbonyl synthesis. It can be used as a key raw material for various plasticizers, butyl acetate, and butyl acrylates, and can also be used as a highly efficient solvent in coatings, inks, and cleaning agents.
Packaged in 200L drums, custom packaging is available.
