Butyl acetate (CAS 123-86-4) is a commonly used transparent, flammable liquid solvent with a moderate evaporation rate, good dissolving power, and a typical fruity aroma. It is mainly used in the coatings, inks, leather, adhesives, and chemical synthesis industries, and is an excellent solvent for many resin systems (nitrocellulose, acrylic resins, alkyd resins, chlorinated rubber, etc.). Butyl acetate evaporates more slowly than ethyl acetate and is often used to adjust the drying speed of coatings and improve gloss and leveling properties.
Packaged in 200L drums, custom packaging is available.
