It is a commonly used organic base and catalyst, exhibiting good solubility and high reactivity, and is widely used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, coatings, resins, and rubber industries. Due to its effective acid absorption and promotion of esterification, acylation, condensation, and polymerization reactions, triethylamine is an indispensable basic chemical raw material in fine chemicals.
